I take care of the marketing, photography and design for the House of Yoga, Mount Maunganui. Creating social media content, print advertisements, flyers, billboards etc. It is a small business so we can only do so much with the budget, but slowly we are creating a design direction that stands out and can be recognised locally.

BOX MAGAZINE Art Director

Working for this luxury lifestyle magazine gave me a deep insight into the publishing world. Learning how to deal with large scale printing, to talk and converse with advertisers, to work for the client and construct designs fitting to each unique brief. This environment was challenging and exciting, always striving to create the cleanest and most beautiful layouts, original to Box Magazine and also to the industry. The time straints were restricted and we were always under pressure, during this time I strived in that environment and loved intensity of the work.

wat.ch MAGAZINE Art Director

This was the beginning of this annual publication, helping to creating a whole table book from scratch as the graphic designer, then for the next issue taking the reins as the art director. Designing for the male audience with the time pressure of having the most up to date products closest to the print date was a challenge, but I ended up loving the creative freedom of building the magazine from the ground up. I got to experience the freedom to be creative in the layout and play with different ideas with the issue to create unique sections of the magazine.

furniture zone Lead creative in house

Monthly campaigns for Furniture Zone NZ, each design was made in to posters for stores, plus digital ad campaigns and social media posts.

commission design/illustration

Private commission for poster work, concept to explore the feminine, surf culture with a vintage style. I wanted to keep the colour pallet similar between both pictures to compliment each other, sticking with earthy tones and added noise to continue with the vintage feel. The commission was for an entire gallery style wall, which I used a mix of my photography, design and illustration all to compliment the surroundings (see image below).

Ainsley DS Creative LOGO & Business Card DESIGN

Vintage/Retro meets Egyptian Goddess meets Ainsley DS. This was a very challenging logo to design as the client wanted to have a great deal many aspects involved. The end product is sleek an simple with gentle accents towards the Hathor Goddess and vintage stylings.

unravel LOGO & Business Card DESIGN

Combining my love of everything, this was a project that gave me such joy. Yoga, surfing, freedom and wellness, all combined with a simple spiral design, inspired by the name and unravelling into stands blowing free, ripples, waves, individuality connecting to one organic spiral or wave. Beautiful client and a very fun project.

DÉESSE logo DESIGN

Combining it all! A logo to promote body freedom for a photographer and blogger specialising in inclusive empowerment sessions and portraits. The brief was to ensure all people including every gender, minority group and individual feels included.

kaer logo DESIGN

A logo inspired by the Yin & Yang symbol for a woman making her business in holistic health. The watercolour feel of the texture, and the negative/positive space play brings this logo to stand out in a clean and effective way.

satlaya yoga logo DESIGN

A traditional hatha and tantra yoga school for teacher training courses. This logo was very exciting to create using such a divine mix of symbols. Quite a challenge to combine so many different symbols to create one logo as the client requested, however we are super happy with the result!

respira identity DESIGN

A new outdoor yoga school in Ericeira, Portugal. Needing logos, timetable, social media design and photography. The whole package so to speak! Wow what a wonderful time creating the content for this new platform of sharing. We chose to have the air symbol hidden into the logo design which also represents the shape of the studio tent. I have worked with this client on a multiple projects including this yoga school and language school. Along with the logo design there were flyers, social media page designs, business cards and online marketing materials. I am always so happy to have repeat clients, creating a beneficial relationship for all.

soul foods logo DESIGN

Such a fun logo to create, working with vegan companies is always full of joy during the work process. This logo was designed (along with business cards and website contribution) for a small business expanding their delicious vegan raw foods. The logo was designed with use of stickers, and cake box marketing for their raw vegan packages.

Lisbon vegan tour LOGO DESIGN

Local group in Lisbon making Vegan Tours around the city for tourists and visitors. Needed a “logo” for social media profiles and to make for advertising. I was lucky enough to come and make the photography for their use and get the grand tour of vegan delights in this beautiful city from Portugal.

MaHana LOGO DESIGN

This yoga studio needed a logo that could be used as art for the studio and their products. We went with a classic mandala, one of my favourite designs to create as it combines drawing mandala options and then creating them digitally for the clean logo effect. The symbolism behind the mandala and the symmetry involved is beautiful and very carefully constructed.

MOTHER NURTURE Logo design

Logo and concept design for small company starting up selling recent mother and baby products. The brief was to have it look as organic and clean as possible in combination, to use the M N symbols in the design and have the mother baby shape with a mandala also. It was a complex brief and both the client and myself were super happy with the result.

Resplendent Soul logo & website design

Logo, identity and website design for a spiritual tour company in India. The website design was to showcase the feeling and emotion of the tours; using rich photography, vibrant colours and clean content aesthetic to portray this. The logo also needed to convey the fire and passion the company has for bringing spirituality to the tourists and allowing them connect to India in the most sacred way. The best way to create such a cohesive identity for your business is that the photography, the design and the content all reach for the same goal. Bivouac campers LOGO DESIGN

Such a good kiwi (New Zealander) company to design for, the idea of off-roading, camping off the beaten track, exploring in nature and combining nature and wildlife together. This logo was made for a camper hire and rooftop tent business in New Zealand, who promotes natural travel and living off the grid. Very happy to have such beautiful elements to play with, and wonderful to be able to create such a clean simple design for each of the branches of the company.

Retreat Fairy logo DESIGN

Working from a photo sent by the client of herself, I illustrated her into a logo that is recognisable and unique for her retreat company. I loved that I could combine illustration into this logo, especially in the shape of a yogic fairy.
